We are a story of bold, talented individuals who, through life’s unexpected turns, left their homelands in search of opportunity. In this new land, we found not only a space to showcase our talent, innovation, and creativity; but also a place to call home. A place to plant roots, build families, and craft new beginnings.
Our Story
It all began in 2014, in the most multicultural city of the world: Toronto. While on a break from a cleaning job at Rogers Stadium, Ricardo Barrasso turned to Carlos Castro and said, almost casually, “You know, I make incredible beer at home.”
Carlos raised an eyebrow. “Prove it.”
Ricardo smiled. “Get me the ingredients, and I will.”
That moment sparked something. A week later, Carlos had gathered everything, hops, malt, yeast, water, and whatever kitchen tools he could find. Ricardo had no excuses left. The brewing began.
The batch took three long months to ferment. But when the beer was finally ready, Ricardo was gone, he had left the country. Alone, in the quiet of his basement, Carlos sat at an empty table. No music. No voices. Just him and a single bottle.
He popped the cap. Pssst. The sound was almost sacred, the perfect hiss of carbonation. A wisp of smoke curled out of the neck. The color: a crisp, golden hue crowned with the perfect foam. Carlos trembled. He placed the glass on the table, afraid to spill a drop.

​He stared. Then sipped.
And in that moment, like a scene out of Ratatouille, time stopped. Flavors collided. Memories surfaced. Effort, faith, and destiny met in perfect harmony. Carlos couldn’t believe it. It was magic… in a glass.
His first instinct was to call Ricardo.
“Ricardo,” he said breathlessly, “this is unbelievable. The beer is amazing.”
“I told you,” Ricardo laughed. “I brew incredible beer.”
“Why don’t we start a beer company?” Carlos asked.
“I don’t know anything about business,” Ricardo admitted.
“Me neither,” Carlos replied. “But I want to be part of making something real. Let’s try.”
